What we sell
A session is one swimmer swimming freestyle for approximately one hour while wearing ten Wavelet Bands, and the technique report produced from that recording afterward.
The price is $175 per swimmer, with a minimum of twelve swimmers per team. Those swimmers may be recorded across several days. Prices on this site apply to sessions in the United States and may change for bookings not yet confirmed.
Sending the form does not book anything and does not hold a date. A booking exists once we have confirmed the dates and the number of swimmers with you in writing.
Scheduling and cancellation
We have one set of hardware, so dates are held in the order teams confirm them. If you need to move a confirmed date, tell us as early as you can and we will reschedule to the next window that works for both of us.
If we have to cancel or cut a session short for a reason on our side, including equipment failure, you do not pay for the swimmers who were not recorded, and anything already paid for them is refunded.
If a swimmer does not appear, is unwell, or the pool becomes unavailable on the day, we will do our best to fit them into another date within the same booking.
What the report is
The report describes what our analysis finds in one swimmer's recorded freestyle and gives numeric values for that swimmer to work toward. It is a measurement and an estimate produced from it.
It is information for a coach and a swimmer to use as they see fit. We do not promise a particular time drop, a competitive result, or that any change will suit a given swimmer, and the coach remains responsible for what the swimmer is asked to do.
Training, not medical care
The Wavelet Band system is a training tool. Nothing we provide is medical advice, a diagnosis, an assessment of injury risk, or a substitute for a qualified medical professional. If a swimmer is in pain or returning from an injury, that is a matter for their doctor.
The session itself
Before we record anyone, the team confirms in writing that a parent or legal guardian has given permission for each swimmer under 18.
The team provides the pool, the water time, and supervision of its swimmers, and remains responsible for their safety and for the rules of the facility. Bands are worn on the outside of the body and are removed by us at the end of the session.
The bands and dock remain our property throughout. We ask that swimmers do not adjust or remove them mid session. Ordinary wear is expected and is our cost.
Payment
We invoice after the swimmers have been recorded, and payment is due within 30 days unless we agree otherwise in writing. Whether the team, a booster organization, or individual families pay is for the team to arrange.
Our materials
The Waveletic name, the Wavelet Band design, the analysis, the reports, this site, and its code and writing belong to Waveletic LLC. Patent pending.
A report is yours to use inside your program, share with the swimmer, and share with that swimmer's family. Please do not publish it or pass it to another program without asking us first. You may link to this site.
Availability of this site
The site is provided as it is and as available. It may change, break, or be withdrawn. Dates shown on it are our best current information and are not a reservation.
Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim connected to a booking is limited to the amount paid for the session that the claim concerns, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes belong to the state or federal courts sitting in Hamilton County, Ohio, and both sides agree to that venue.
Changes and contact
We may revise these terms as the product and the business change. The version in effect for a booking is the one published when we confirmed it. Terms specific to your team belong in what we agree with you in writing, not on this page.
